WHAT: TD Bank is the largest investor of the Line 3 tar sands oil pipeline that Enbridge is trying to build across Anishinaabe territory in so-called Minnesota. The pipeline is currently under construction but is facing indigenous led resistance from groups such as the Giniw Collective, who have been carrying out direct actions to halt construction of the project.

This is a solidarity demonstration that follows the lead of Indigenous resistance against the Line 3 tar sands pipeline and campaign to #DefundLine3. Community members will gather outside the downtown TD Bank to show their support for the water protectors and to rally against TD Bank’s investments in Enbridge.
