Taste of Thayer is Back!
The Thayer Street District Management Authority (TSDMA) is thrilled to announce the return of the Taste of Thayer for its second year on October 12 from 4:30P to 8:30P!
Providence, RI: Wednesday, October 12 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thayer Street will be closed to traffic for its signature event, the TASTE OF THAYER. (Rain date October 19). Ticket holders/attendees will receive an event badge which will provide access to food samples at participating restaurants, 2 free drink tickets, and special event discounts at participating retail locations. The event will host LIVE music at four (4) locations on the street by local musicians: Jake Hunsinger, Nate Cozzolino, Back Porch, as well as kid-friendly activities and outdoor picnic seating on the street.
The following major upgrades have been made to this year’s event: Thayer Street will be closed to traffic from Bowen to Angell during the event, picnic tables will be placed on Thayer Street for attendees, port-a-potties provided, free family friendly activities, longer event hours, free parking for attendees at two (2) Brown owned parking lots (Lot 11 and Lot 44) after 5 p.m., reduced ticket prices Adult $23, Child $7 (10 and under), Student $15 (current High School or College ID required) from last year’s ticket price of $30 , and live music at 4 (four) locations.
