Passover & Good Friday … and the onset of The Holy Month of Ramadan just days away, Peace Activists in Boston and Providence conducted solemn observances of the carnage resulting from both the Covid Crisis and the impact of American Foreign Policy
In Rhode Island, members of the Rhode Island Anti-War Committee held a Good Friday Vigil, for peace outside of Federal Building in Providence Rhode Island.

Members spoke to the ongoing American sponsored Genocide in Yemen … Nuclear Disarmament, as well as the disappointment in Sen Jack Reed’s failure to intervene. Of special note? Rhode Island based Raytheon’s ongoing profit at the expense of the Yemeni People.
Meanwhile, in Boston, the Global Pandemics Vigil featuring the Global Pandemics Memorial Stone welcomed the public to commemorate lives lost to this pandemic. A 2½ ton granite bereavement stone was pulled by hand through the Back Bay from the Statehouse to the Haynes Mass Vaccination Site, then on to Copley Square. The Global Pandemics Memorial Stone will be on public display throughout Easter weekend at the Old South Church on Boylston Street, Boston. Please contact The Peace Abbey for more information.
