The Stop Torture RI Coalition will be hosting an informative event about solitary confinement in Rhode Island at Cranston RI 02905, August 4, 2022, 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Come learn about the torture in RI prisons, meet survivors, and get involved in the campaign to pass the Restrictive Housing Act. The Liberty family will be in attendance carrying on Charlene Liberty’s legacy since she passed away in 2022.Charlene Liberty was a survivor of torture in solitary confinement who sued the DOC over inhumane conditions.
