All RIPTA Offices Will be Closed on Monday, December 26, 2022, & Monday, January 2, 2023
The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will operate all fixed-route bus service on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Sunday, December 25, 2022, in observance of Christmas Day, and Sunday, January 1, 2023, in observance of New Year’s Day. RIPTA will run regular fixed-route service on the Monday following each holiday.
All RIPTA offices, including Customer Service, will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
All RIPTA offices, except for the Customer Service call center and RIde office, will be closed on Monday, December 26, 2022 and Monday, January 2, 2023.
RIde and Flex Services
The statewide RIde Program will operate on Sunday, December 25, 2022 and Sunday, January 1, 2023. No Flex Services will operate on Christmas or New Year’s Day. The Flex Service reservation line (1-877-906-FLEX) and the RIde reservation line (461-9760) will not be staffed on either holiday. However, RIde passengers can leave a detailed message on the appropriate phone line if they want to schedule an upcoming trip. Regular service for both RIde and Flex will resume on the Monday following the holiday.
