The Rhode Island Democratic Women’s Caucus is pleased to announce its endorsement of Doris De Los Santos for city councilor of Providence’s Ward 15 in a special election on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.
In considering this endorsement the Women’s Caucus recognized Ms. De Los Santos’s extensive experience in public service and community engagement, which is consistent with the Women’s Caucus mission of working to ensure equality in power, influence, and economic status for women.
De Los Santos’s visionary leadership in social justice issues will be a welcome voice to Providence’s movement towards a more inclusive society, where all persons are valued and represented.
We urge the residents of Providence’s Ward 15 to vote for Doris De Los Santos in the special election on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.
